Payment and Refund Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy was last updated on 4 October 2026.

Scope of this Policy

This policy applies to all payments made for courses and related services offered by starnexusp. These include professional training programmes covering video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news and broadcasting. It covers both one-time course purchases and any subscription-based access to learning materials or live sessions. The policy governs transactions conducted through our commercial website and applies to customers located in the United Kingdom.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling. Course fees are inclusive of value added tax at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. No hidden charges apply to standard enrolment, but optional add-ons such as extended access periods or certification may incur separate fees clearly shown at checkout. Currency conversion charges levied by your payment provider remain your responsibility and are not controlled by starnexusp.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers and approved digital wallets. All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Authorisation occurs immediately upon submission. We do not store full card details on our systems. In the event of a payment failure due to insufficient funds or incorrect details, the transaction is declined and you will be notified instantly.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email after successful payment. This email summarises the course purchased, access instructions and applicable terms. Until this confirmation is issued, no contract exists and any pre-authorisation holds on your card may be released automatically by your bank.

Cancellation Rights and Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of the confirmation email. During this period you may cancel without providing a reason. However, if you begin accessing digital course materials or live sessions within this period you lose the right to cancel once access has commenced, in line with the regulations for digital content.

Refund Eligibility and Exclusions

Refunds are available for cancellations made within the 14-day period provided no substantial course content has been accessed. Non-refundable items include any downloaded resources, completed modules or certification fees once issued. Promotional or discounted courses may carry additional exclusions stated at the time of purchase. Refunds are not granted for change of mind after the cooling-off period or for failure to meet personal learning goals.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund you must email [email protected] or use the contact form on our Contacts page within the applicable time limit. Include your order number, full name, the course title and a clear statement of your request. Supporting information such as proof of payment may be requested to verify the claim.

Review, Decision and Notification Process

Upon receipt we will acknowledge your request within two working days. Our team reviews eligibility against the criteria above. You will receive a written decision via email within ten working days. If approved, the refund is processed; if rejected, reasons are provided together with any appeal options available under UK law.

Refund Methods, Timescales and Receipt of Funds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days, though some banks may take longer. Bank transfers are completed within seven working days. You will be notified once the refund has been initiated.

Special Provisions for Digital Content and Services

Because our courses consist primarily of digital content and live services, access is granted immediately upon payment. This means the 14-day cancellation right ends as soon as you start streaming or downloading materials. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date; partial-period refunds are not provided for mid-cycle cancellations.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded promptly upon verification. Suspected fraudulent transactions are reported to the relevant authorities and may result in account suspension. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may lead to additional administrative fees where permitted by law and could affect future purchasing eligibility.

Your Statutory Rights as a UK Consumer

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Data Protection Act 2018. You remain entitled to services of satisfactory quality, as described and fit for purpose. Any attempt to exclude these rights is void.
